At the recent club presentation evening members and guests paid tribute to the contribution made by Dick Woodhams to the club over the last 50 years, upon his retirement as club chairman and groundsman.

Dick joined Offham Cricket Club in 1971, 50 years ago.

Dick first assumed responsibility for the square as groundsman 38 years ago and also became its ninth Chairman in 2000.

The annual club presentation event was held at West Malling Golf Club on Saturday 30^th October which was attended by a large number of players, sponsors and guests.

On the 1st of October the club AGM took place, this year online as a consequence of the ongoing fuel shortage.

Prior to the meeting, Dick Woodhams regrettably decided to tender his resignation as the club Chairman.

After fielding first against tough opposition, the 1XI had a difficult first half to their bowling innings.
To start the chase, Dave Sibley hit a lovely six over long off, but that was the best from the openers.

Pavilion Renovation

At the end of last season it was clear that one end of the pavilion needed to be renovated, so this work has taken place over the last couple of weeks and is now finished.
